In this tutorial you will learn the first steps on accessing EarthRanger on your web browser. It’s important to know that the supported web browser is Google Chrome. There are two ways that you can login
one is using a username and a password provided by your local EarthRanger administrator, and the other is with user profiles. To enhance security, EarthRanger can be configured to enable selected operators to log in using a user profile instead of a username and password. Logging in with a user profile enables the activities of operators to be tracked and logged, but they can only access EarthRanger from within the control room. On the EarthRanger top navigation bar, select the Username on the top right, this will prompt a list of different user profiles under ControlRoom. Select your user profile, and everything will be set up to start working on EarthRanger. To log out of EarthRanger with a user profile, you can select, on the top navigation bar your user profile and on the dropdown menu, then select the ControlRoom.
It is important to not click log out from the username.
