Release Notes 2.136

This release introduces three new analyzers for automated detection and a migration tool for upgrading Event Types from V1 to V2.

🆕 New Features

  • V1 to V2 Event Type Migration Tool
Site administrators can now review and selectively upgrade existing Event Types to V2 through a guided tool with built-in compatibility checks. Upgrades are permanent and do not affect existing event data. See: Upgrade Event Types to V2 Using the Migration Tool
  • Observation Attribute Analyzer
Analyzer that monitors data values reported by connected devices such as battery level, temperature, or speed and automatically generates an Event when a value crosses a defined threshold. See: How to Set Up an Observation Attribute Analyzer
  • Movement Cluster Analyzer
Analyzer that detects when tracked subjects are spending concentrated time in a specific area and generates an Event when the pattern meets your defined criteria. See: How to Set Up a Movement Cluster Analyzer
  • Polygon Geofence support
Geofence Analyzers now support polygon boundaries in addition to line geometry, drawable directly in EarthRanger without an external file. Includes a new Corner Clip setting for controlling how ambiguous boundary crossings are handled. See: Configure Geofence Analyzers
