With EarthRanger Mobile 2.8.6., we’ve introduced enhancements that speed up app launch and improve data synchronization. These updates reduce loading times, giving you a faster access to critical data while allowing more control over event and Subject sync settings.
What’s New?
1. Optimized App Startup
To help the app start faster and use less memory, we've made a change: subject data will no longer update automatically when you open the app. Now, it will only refresh when you manually sync it from the Status view.
2. Manual Sync for Faster Updates
You’re now in control of when your app syncs the latest information. By reducing automatic background syncing, this change significantly improves app performance and speeds up login times. When you're ready to update your data, simply tap the Sync button on the Status page.
