The Events Dashboard is where you view, filter, and manage all Events created or synced on your mobile device. This article walks you through the dashboard's key features — Event status, search, drafts, and filters.
Events Dashboard

The Events list displays all Events created on this device by the logged-in user. If you have opted in to view shared Events, those will also appear here. See: How to View Shared Events in EarthRanger Mobile

Event Search

Tap the search icon to open the search bar and filter the Events list by keyword. ![]() |
Event Status
Each Event in the list shows one of three statuses:
Pending Sync

The Event has been saved locally and is waiting to upload. This happens when you're offline, or if an upload attempt failed.

Draft
|

The Event was started but not submitted. Drafts let you pause mid-report and return to it later.
Tap a Draft Event to continue editing it. |
Synced

The Event and all attachments have been submitted successfully to EarthRanger. The Event's ID is shown in the list.

Filter

When tapping on the Events list filter text/icon you will be presented with a view that allows you to filter by:

The Event list and the map will now display only Events with that selected statuses. ![]() |
| Date |
Select a date and time to filter the Events list and Events on the map to reflect only the Events that occurred with in the time indicated. ![]() |

Visibility
|
Indicates wherever the Events created by the login user should display over the map or only on the Event list in the dashboard. ![]() When the eye is cross out no Event will display over the map. ![]() |
| Event Priority |
The Event list and the map will now display only Events with that selected priorities. ![]() |

When a filter is applied to the Events list the filter section adds a badge with a numerical value indicating how many filters are being applied. ![]() |
