Prerequisites
Wialon
You will need:
- Wialon API token.
EarthRanger
To send movement data to EarthRanger, you will need:
- A special EarthRanger user (e.g., “Gundi Service Account”) for this integration. Please refer to EarthRanger's documentation or contact Support.
- A long-lived token for authentication assigned to the user created in the previous step. Please refer to EarthRanger's documentation or contact Support.
Configuration
GUIDES
I. Gundi Connection Settings
Login to Gundi.
Click on Create Connection.
Select Wialon.
Select your Organization.
Enter a name for this Connection (e.g., “Vehicle Tracker - AccountName”)
Configure your Wialon token.
Note: If a token is not available but you have a valid username and password, refer to the “How to Create a Token” section at the end of this article.
Click Next.
Select a Destination. Please consult our guide.
II. EarthRanger Settings
The following configurations are optional:
1. Select the data you want to see in the map.
1.1. Log in to EarthRanger as an admin (site.pamdas.org/admin).
1.2. Go to Source Providers.
1.3. Select the Source Provider created for this integration (e.g., "gundi_wialon_UUID")
1.3. Click on Subject Details Configuration.
1.4. Configure the additional information you would like to see on the map.
2. Assign your Subjects to a Subject Group.

Note on Latency
The time it takes for data to appear in your destination system depends on several factors, such as latency introduced by the source, network conditions, and intermediary systems. While these factors may vary, Gundi typically checks for available data at scheduled intervals (approximately every 5 minutes).
If data is not available in your system after this interval, please check the source of the data for its availability. If the issue persists, contact our Support team for assistance.
How to Create a Token
This section is optional, only for users without an API Token for this integration.
Method 1:
Go to https://hosting.wialon.com/login.html?duration=0&flags=0x200&client_id=earthranger
Add a valid Username and Password
Select Log In
Wait to be redirected to a page, and extract the token from the URL.
Method 2:
Go to https://hosting.wialon.com/login.html?duration=0&flags=0x200&client_id=earthranger
Ask the user to log in to their Wialon dashboard.
Under “Session Management” create a token with “Online Tracking” permissions.
