Activity Logs in Gundi provide a record of Connection events, allowing users to monitor data processing, track configuration changes, and troubleshoot issues. These logs capture events related to data ingestion, transformation, and dispatching to conservation platforms like EarthRanger and SMART Connect.
To access Activity Logs, select the relevant Connection and click on Logs.
Key Components
- Timestamp – Shows when an event occurred.
- Log Details – Displays information about events, configuration changes, failures, and more.

Log Level – Categorized as Debug, Info, Warning, or Error.
Filtering
You may filter logs by:
- Keywords
- Log Type
- Minimum Log Level
- Date Range
by Keywords
Type any words you are looking for, such as a source name, and click on the magnifying glass icon to search the logs.

by Log Type
Select “Changes” to show only records related to Connection name changes, updates to configurable parameters, or changes to the selected destinations.
Select “Activity” to show only records related to the data stream.

by Minimum Log Level
Use this filter to select if you want to see only Errors, Errors and Warnings, or more information.

Info
, you will see Info, Warnings, and Error messages. - If you select
Debug
, you will see everything, including Debug messages.

by Date Range
Use this filter to show only messages recorded during the selected timeframe.
