EarthRanger Identity is the new secure sign-in for EarthRanger.
With EarthRanger Identity:
- You can sign in with your email address and a password you set and control
- You can reset your own password at any time
- One set of credentials works across all of the EarthRanger sites you have access to
- Your existing account, access, history and settings are all preserved
Your sign-in belongs to you
EarthRanger Identity changes how you sign in, not what you can access. EarthRanger access remains controlled by your site administrator.
If you sign in with your email address, your sign-in is your own. You set your own password and can reset it at any time — no site administrator can change it on your behalf.
What stays the same
Your existing EarthRanger account, access, history and settings are all preserved. Site administrators still manage roles, permissions and user access through the same EarthRanger admin tools as before. Profile accounts used for field delegation work exactly as before and are not affected by EarthRanger Identity.

After migration, you sign in to EarthRanger using your email address and a password you set and control.
