Log in to Gundi.

Click Create Connection.

Select Hytera Smart Dispatch Plus.

Select your Organization.

Enter a Connection Name (e.g., Hytera installation).

Click Next.

Select a Destination. Please consult our guides.

On-Site Support (Hytera Smart Dispatch) Several sites rely on Contact Comms to operate their Hytera Smart Dispatch service and its integration with Gundi/EarthRanger. For on-site support, contact Contact Comms at workshop@contactcomms.co.za and include a description of the issue and the affected user(s).

 

Troubleshooting Guides

1. Review the connection activity logs in Gundi.

2. If no errors are present, contact the On-Site Support Team (e.g., Contact Comms) to verify the following:

Note that in several cases, restarting the Hytera Dispatch service and Gundi Generic Radio Service has resolved integration downtime issues. On-site support can assist with this activity.

Important: If everything appears to be working as expected on-site, please get in touch with our team. Note that we may require remote access to the server to assist with troubleshooting.

3. If errors are present in the logs, escalate the issue to the EarthRanger/Gundi Support Team for further investigation.
