You can create, edit, and manage user profiles directly in the EarthRanger Admin site. Each profile is associated with a parent user, who can manage multiple profiles.

Creating Users and Parent Users

1. In the Admin site, navigate to User Accounts at the bottom of the page, then click Users.
2. Click Add User to create a new user.
3. Choose the user type:
   • Parent User: Enable login permissions.
   • Profile User: Do not enable login permissions.
4. Assign user activities and responsibilities according to their role.
5. Set a unique 4-digit PIN for both the parent user and each profile user. Each PIN must be distinct and will be permanently associated with the respective user.
6. Ensure that both the parent user and all profile users have their own 4-digit PIN to enable the switching feature between profiles.

Linking a Parent User to Profile Users

1. Open the parent user's account.
2. Scroll to the Profiles section at the bottom.
3. In the Available Profiles list, select the desired profiles.
4. Click the right arrow to move the selected profiles to the Chosen Profiles list.

Profiles in the Chosen Profiles list are now linked to the parent user.

Setting up PINs

1. When creating a user, locate the PIN field.
2. Enter a unique 4-digit PIN for each user.
3. Make sure each PIN is distinct and recorded for future use.
4. Use the PIN to enable profile switching in the EarthRanger mobile app.

Note: Both the parent user and associated profiles must have a PIN set up, or the profiles won't appear in the EarthRanger mobile app configuration.
