To send movement data to EarthRanger, you will need:

A special EarthRanger user (e.g., “Gundi Service Account”) for this integration. Please refer to EarthRanger's documentation or contact Support.
A long-lived token for authentication assigned to the user created in the previous step. Please refer to EarthRanger's documentation or contact Support.

GUIDES

1. Login to Gundi.

2. Click on Create Connection.

3. Select Marine Monitor.

4. Select your Workspace.

5. Enter a name for this Connection (e.g., “Vessel Detection - AccountName”).

6. Configure your Marine Monitor Account details (API Key, API URL).

7. Configure a name for the Subject Group where all Subjects will be created in EarthRanger.

8. Configure the Subject Subtype or use the default value ("boat").

9. Click Next.

10. Select a Destination. Please consult our guide.

This integration pulls data from Marine Monitor every 5 minutes.
This integration deletes subjects and sources no longer in use.
Given the nature of this integration, the connection in Gundi will not list all the sources discovered by the integration.
Known Issue: Users might need to manually refresh the browser to clean the map from Subjects automatically deleted. This issue will be addressed soon.

If vessel is not automatically deleted, consider navigating to the Connection in Gundi, and use the “View Cached Vessel Data” or “Reset Cached Vessel Data” actions in the portal.
